The Minority Leader in the Parliament of Ghana, Honourable Haruna Iddrisu has mourned the passing of the former Member of Parliament for the the Zebilla Constituency, John Akparibo Ndebugre who\u2019s death was announced on Friday, May 6, 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement, Hon Iddrisu described the late MP as \u201ca man of conviction and tenacity\u201d who never shy away from \u201cexpressing his views, even if they were considered unpopular by some sections of the public.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He extended his sincere condolences to the\u00a0wife, children, family and the people of Zebilla\u00a0for their loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PASSING OF HON. JOHN AKPARIBO NDEBUGRE<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I received with shock news of the passing of Hon. John Akparibo Ndebugre, former Member of Parliament for Zebilla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hon. Nde, as we affectionately referred to him, was a man of conviction and tenacity. He never shied away from expressing his views, even if they were considered unpopular by some sections of the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John Ndebugre served both the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC) and the People\u2019s National Convention (PNC).  During his days with the PNDC and through to the PNC, he spoke truth to power.  He was tough yet affable; he mingled freely with both his contemporaries and the young.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even after leaving Parliament in 2009, he remained active in the public space. This he did through his regular media engagements on political, social and legal issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fare thee well, Hon. Nde; my Friend and Uncle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We pray for eternal rest of his soul.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
