Chief Fortune Charumbira<\/strong>, and feature a keynote address by the Guest of Honour, <strong>H.E. Professor Miguel Cesar Domingos Bembe<\/strong>, Ambassador of Angola to Ethiopia and Chairperson of the AU Permanent Representatives Committee (PRC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two-week Session, which runs until <strong>31 July 2025<\/strong>, brings together legislators from across the continent and international dignitaries to deliberate on pressing continental issues, particularly justice, equity, and reparative frameworks for historical injustices against African people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notable dignitaries who will address the opening ceremony include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Hon. Thandi Moraka<\/strong>, Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, South Africa<\/li><li><strong>H.E. Hilarion Etong<\/strong>, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie (APF)<\/li><li><strong>Rt. Hon. Mohammed Ould Errachid<\/strong>, President of the House of Councillors, Morocco<\/li><li><strong>Rt. Hon. Hamma Salama<\/strong>, Speaker of the Saharawi National Council<\/li><li><strong>Hon. Bernard Ahiafor<\/strong>, Deputy Speaker, National Assembly of Ghana<\/li><li><strong>H.E. Mrs. Nardos Bekele-Thomas<\/strong>, CEO, AUDA-NEPAD<\/li><li><strong>Amb. Marie Antoinette Rose Quatre<\/strong>, CEO, APRM<\/li><li><strong>H.E. Ambassador Nzapayeke<\/strong>, Dean of African Ambassadors in South Africa<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A press conference is scheduled to follow the ceremony, featuring PAP leadership and the dignitaries.
